Unfortunately, the quality of the food was very disappointing, especially the salmon. When I mentioned to one of the servers that the food was not good and that I really didn’t enjoy it, they simply took the rest of the plates away without offering any solution or even showing concern. Since it was my birthday, I chose not to let it ruin my night and just let it go. However, I’m truly disappointed by both the poor food quality and the lack of care from the staff.

I don’t normally leave bad reviews, but I recently visited Joey’s Don Mills for my daughter’s birthday, and it was the worst experience I’ve had at any Joey’s location. The food was good—everyone at our table was happy with their meals. But everything else left a lot to be desired. I had reserved a table for 8. First of all, it was so loud I could not even hear the person in front of me. They’re playing reggaeton at 10:30 at night on blast. 2nd its so loud the servers  couldn’t hear me at all and got my order wrong 3 times. Every dish that came out was missing something i ordered. The servers need to be trained and how to listen and not have selective listening. The damn restaurant is to learn to turn down the music and let people eat in peace . I ordered 4-5 different thing. Horribly overpriced for what you get. A very mediocre cheeseburger $25. + tax + gratuity. Server leaning over our table while taking the order like he thinks we're buddies. Way too casual attitude. Off our go to list.

The staff was hostile with us within the first minute. First, the hostess sat us right next to the kitchen. I believe that a reservation made in advance should not be given poor seating, especially considering the hostess gave the walk-ins better seats. My sister voiced that she did not like the seats and the hostess began whispering to two other waitresses who all looked irritated. Had to ask for the bill several times and had large gaps between ordering and drinks and food. Not sure if they were short staffed but if that was the case customers should be told.

The server had attitude. Really didn't care if or how we liked or food.Food came at different times and the hot food was cold and tasted like it had been heated up Ordered french fries and they came first and we waited 20 minutes before the rest of the food . We have had issues with the food being not hot and tasted like it was cooked a few days ahead and reheated Don Milla location has problems and with all the new restaurants cropping up I think something should be done to improve the food and service
