Great location, food usually really good although, yesterday we had a mixed experience. Staff was very friendly. Wait times for the food were very high - from the time we arrived to our mains it was over an hour. Ambience was too noisy and hard to communicate.

In our neighborhood and one of our favourite places. Service was prompt and friendly and efficient small details taken care of. Food is always of good quality and well presented. Recommend we there there for Happy hour.
The menu was different than Earls and Cactus Club. The dishes ordered were delicious and of reasonable value. The service was excellent and everyone was friendly. The only problem was with our table being close to the door leading to the outdoor seating. It was a cold and wet evening, so we had gusts of cold air. We could have asked for another table, but they seemed pretty busy.
Everything is always great at Joeys Shipyards. They have a great view of Vancouver from the heated patio.
