I am going to skip to the chase here. I purchased a ford f150 xlt on 06/28/25 from John hinderer ford. The process to get to this point was hectic but we won’t go there. I was supposed to receive a check for $318 and change for the recent service I had completed at John Hinderer Honda on my trade-in vehicle. Worst dealership ever. My truck went in with a check engine light on. And came out worse. Now it's leaking coolant cause of something they did. And they want to charge me for them to fix it. Makes no sense.
It’s not a great feeling doing business with John Hinderer Ford in Washington Court House. I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone. They start off by giving you a price chart, rather than what an actual price and payment will be. They will say they are giving you a three year bumper to bumper see plan, but that is not the case. It is additional to the price of the vehicle. My salesman could not get my name right. They put my first and middle name in, and forgot my last name. I have had my car serviced here since I bought it but after this visit I will be going to Ricart or Valley Ford in Columbus, I have always paid around $65 for a oil change and tire rotation this visit they had me there over an hour and a half and charged me $91 when I asked about the difference I got the excuse oil had went up if that's the case why isn't other dealerships raising their prices so I will just take my business and money elsewhere
Incompetent / unexperienced service department. After providing a $150, Diagnosis Test, I was informed there was nothing wrong with my vehicle ?..insisting they revisit this case, the “master” mechanics suggested…I may have a fuel pump that needs replaced ??…I refused the exorbitant fees replacing this pump that wasn’t for certain that need to be replaced….Then Dealership refused to refund my $150 Diagnosis fee, that provided zero information .
