I felt the exam was very thorough and educational. I appreciated that I could order all of the recommended products myself and pick from a list of reasonably priced choices rather than having to buy expensive products directly from the doctor's office.
Dr. Lord saw me for ankle pain that I have had for months. He immediately diagnosed the problem and told me what needed to be done. He spent at least 45 minutes with me. I will start pt and see him again in 6 weeks. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Lord is patient with my spouse who has dementia and particularly sensitive feet. He clips and cleans while keeping us bith entertained with his wit. Thank you, Dr Lord
I chose Dr. Lord after seeing he was considered one of the top podiatrists in Raleigh and also conveniently located from where I live. It did take a longer period to see him from when I called to schedule an appointment, but that has been my experience whenever I have scheduled an appointment with a top doctor - they usually have a longer wait time to schedule an appointment. I gave him 5 stars.
Dr. Lord gave me some great suggestions to try and get my feet to stop hurting when I am working. I have faith in what he is suggesting to me to try. Little by little I hope to feel solid on my feet again. He is a stand out when it comes to a doctor who gives great advice, listens and talks to you during your visit. What a great experience! Not only is Dr. Lord detail oriented, making sure you understand what he's saying (he gave me explicit written directions so I would remember), he is a skilled listener who requests patient feedback so he can improve care for that person and for other patients. I would guess he gets diagnoses and treatments right the first time more often than not because his listening skills and welcoming spirit work so well together. Kudos to staff also - everyone on the team was wonderful. Highly recommend!
Dr. Lord usually does more than I ask of him and is always interested in enhancing my wellbeing. He has removed callouses with great skil and helped me to deal with treating toenail fungus.
