First time coming here. Service is fantastic with a large and attentive staff and manager. I ordered the Fajita Chicken Omelette which was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I got the brunch potatoes with the bacon and cheddar cheese. I prefer my potatoes chunked rather than scalloped, but the flavor was decent. Keke's Breakfast Cafe is the latest restaurant to open up in the first phase of The Pavilion at Durbin Creek in the Saint John's area. The first phase will house a multi-tenant shopping area. Once completed, it will rival the big, local Jacksonville shopping areas like the Town Center. Keke's, another Brunch addition within the Mandarin/Bartram area. This had me really excited. About a week ago wife & I decided to check this new place out in the new Durbin Park. The beautiful but large place was clean, service was prompt. There were quite a few empty tables which we attributed to it being around 10:00am, a bit late for the big breakfast crowd. Our server was friendly and very accommodating. Food was great and wonderful service. Portions are huge, I got the Florida pancake and didn't even finish half of it. My adult daughter had the stuffed French Toast, OMG!
Very disappointed. I decided to try this restaurant after passing it a few times. First off, the host was VERY cold - not friendly all. The restaurant was not full at all but he chose to seat me right next to the kitchen door. I didn't like it but chose to roll with it. The food is very average. We decided to give it another try today and walked out after waiting on our food for over 40 minutes. It was just 2 of us and we ordered basic breakfast items. Ridiculous

It's like a super expensive version of Denny"s where somehow the food is worse than Denny"s. If you want to pay a lot of money for a breakfast you won't enjoy then this is your place.

The service was really good. The staff were all super friendly and had good knowledge on allergies. The food came out COLD and dry. I offered French toast not toast.

I've tried this business twice in a month to give the benefit of doubt. My 1st trip was on a busy Saturday morning. My 2nd trip was on an early, quiet Sunday morning. The location is great, the food quality, not so much. On both occasions, I ordered the same items.
