This has been a long awaited opening for this brunch queen. We were worried about a wait so we visited on Sunday at about 9am. It was actually pretty busy, but we were able to get princess parking and there was no wait. We had an awesome waitress. (Alexandra or Alexandria, I believe. Blonde and very friendly). I love that there are all booths because I am a table hater. Our waitress didn't hover which I also can appreciate. Food was okay nothing special, service was a little annoying. I was obviously engaging in a serious conversation and kept getting interrupted by server or manger?. Not sure. As a former server, they should be watching for things like this.

Keke's in Tallahassee opened on 2/11/19 and I've already been there about 5 times! It's such a chill and inexpensive choice. You Don't worry about the pressure of dressing in your Sunday's best! The restaurant is still new and like most new restaurants the service starts off Impeccable! When you walk in you're greeted by a receptionist that will also walk you to an available table. Keke's is brand new (as of February 2019) so I was expecting the long line on a Sunday morning, but I'm not sure the lines will hold up. The service was friendly, and the place was clean, granted it was new. But I wasn't all that impressed by the menu. I'd put it in the category with other breakfast chains like iHop and Denny's, maybe a little pricier. They do pancakes, waffles, French toast, omelets and club sandwiches. We visited Sunday, March 1, 2026 We understand it was very busy but, the coffee cups should have been kept full during the long wait. When our food did arrive, my eggs were hard and cold. The Greek omelette was also cold. For my piece of french toast, I received a ball of cold butter. With the toast being warm at best, it didn't even pretend to melt. Very nice breakfast and family friendly restaurant ambiance. The food was decent, but the rest of the experience ruined it for us... although our food was quite tasty, it wasn't necessarily warm when it came out. It also took FOREVER. It was just the two of us and we ordered as soon as we our server greeted us, which did take about 10 minutes... and there were still people who got sat after us that not only got their food first, but also got their bill and left before we got our food. I was really excited to try Keke's, but probably won't ever come back. Our service was extremely slow (2 hours from order to check), but the restaurant is barely half full. My husband ordered unsweetened tea, but was given sweet. He asked for a new tea when our food came (the waitress wasn't checking on us while we waited), but he never got one. My order was missing the toast and our daughter's caesar salad was the size of a small side salad, yet the price was a full entree.
