We had an awful server who seemed to just rattle off her polite server responses while not actually listening to our requests, remembering them, or being proactive about what we might need. We had to ask for everything multiple times. Sometimes when we needed to grab her to ask for silverware or our forgotten drinks she was too quick to run off and "happily" get what she forgot that she didn't allow us to complete our request and having to wait until she returned to ask for the other items she forgot.
Here's the good: attractive place and friendly people. The food was disappointing. Coffee was weak, watered down. Sunny side Eggs were watery French Toast were just OK. Over priced. Did I mention the coffee was horrible? For me, much improvement is needed.
service was very good, but food amount was disappointing. you could count the pecans on the waffle and it was not warm. when paying that much for a breakfast you should get what you pay for.
Disappointing in so many ways - as previous Winter Park experience was somewhat more satisfying... Menu font so small our server offered a magnifying glass (and stated this was an ongoing complaint from guests)... Paper cups for coffee and water, with tiny salt/pepper packets wrapped in napkin - is this all to to avoid ensuring health safety measures are followed, rather than consider the enjoyment of the guest? Worst BLT ever. Scraps of leftover bacon. Some chewy and some hard as a rock!! I could not eat it all. So I ordered one 1 pancake. One pancake cost me $5.49 cents!! Be careful what you order. Manager did not help at all!! And was not willing to help with the price. "Corporate rating!!"
Mediocre at best. My husband had the egg and cheese sandwich with sausage and jalapeños ($8.99). There was nothing special about it. I had an apple cinnamon pancake with eggs and home fries ($10.49). Also flavorless. My guess is that they target to elderly and avoid seasoning completely. The service was also mediocre. When asked if I wanted a box (because I ate very little), I expressed that I wasn't impressed with the food and would pass on the box. No apologies or inquiries were made. My toast was too well done and cold. I ordered two eggs with potatoes and toast. The potatoes were tasteless.
Not impressed at all! They don't even have fun cooking personalities! So how can they have good food? Won't bother going again I know that.
only order the pancakes if you like the cake part.Sent back first batch and second batch about as thick as first. They ask if better but said they rise all by them self??? Still not sure why i paid full price after they were not the best o well
