Our food and service was exceptional. We went for our 40th anniversary. Our server congratulated us several times and brought out a little dessert with candles on it. We cannot recommend La Strada enough. We will ask for Kamel next time we go there for dinner. He made the evening special.
Had private room that was much quieter. There were 8 of us. Service was good although a little slow at times. Food was great, we eat here every time we come to Reno.
Seemed understaffed. This was a 46th anniversary. It was noted in the reservation when I made it. The hostess welcomed us on our anniversary, so the message got through. It was never mentioned again by anyone. Food was good. The risotto was very undercooked, actually crunchy. Scallops and oso bucco were cooked perfectly.
Keith was the best server we've had this entire trip!

We dined here on July 11, 2026, and our server told us the menu had been changed about two weeks earlier. After trying some of our longtime favorites, it was clear the recipes had changed as well, and unfortunately the food just wasn’t as good as it used to be. The old ribeye steak was one of my favorites, but the new version is nowhere near as good. It lacks the flavor and quality that made me keep coming back.
