Took my pets here for years but stopped due to wait times being up to 2 hours long, lack of organization and a few bad attitudes at the front counter and even more wait time when billing out. No streamlined process once you've seen the vet. You sit and wait even longer to pay your bill and more times than not have to remind them you are ready to bill out. More importantly the different veterinarians you may see each time seem to be drastically up charging for unnecessary tests and procedures. Not all of them do this but... read more
1st visit ( Friday ) My dog had blood in urine. Urine collected and I was told I would get a call back with the results. They were sending the urine out for culture which takes a few days.. Monday comes...no call, tuesday no call, So I called on Wed and ask about the result and I was told no culture were sent out. All was done was a urine dip...Fine...I got somewhat upset but I thought I would give them another chance. I have gone to the Shoreline Value Pet Clinic since my dog was a young pup and the service was always very friendly, informative, quick and thorough. I recently moved to the south end and to keep records combined, I decided to continue with the clinic in Kent. I have not only taken my own dog here at least 5 times, but also my boyfriends dog on several occasions. I had took my cat in because of severe allergies. When got there my cat was already in shock because doesn't like car rides but then where told we had to wait for 1.5 to be seen. The Vet told us she had allergies and said we needed to do a test for $382! and that was all that they had recommended and sent my husband home after the 1 1/2 wait and a bill. To me this is unprofessional and not a good clinic because my cat needed to be seen for severe reason but didn't get the care she needed because of lack financially liable op... read more
Care of pets is good, however wait time is ridiculously horrible. I checked in at 11:10am and they only had 2 dogs in front of me already being seen.. they had two doctors in.. I finally was called around 12:20pm and we went back into the room where we waited for another 30 minutes. I was bringing my dog in for a check up and a nail trim. I most likely will come back because of the good dog care... but the wait time needs to change.
Use to be a good clinic, has gone down hill significantly. I blame turnover. I never see the same face whenever I go in.
I called Value Pet Clinic yesterday because they never called me back. The lady in the office didn't know they were supposed to call me. I explained everything to her and she told me the Office Manager would be in tomorrow (which is now today) and I still have not heard anything. Additionally, I have changed vets - now going to Reber Ranch. It has been confirmed my puppy has Tapeworm. Way to completely drop the ball Value Pet Clinic and make my puppy suffer another week.
Horrible place! Never take your pets here ever they messed up my pets ashes with somebody else's and won't even tell us where they are. They were not even apologetic being a pet place and caring for animals you would think they would care. Trash!
We took our dog here when he got sick. He's a big pit and the whole left side of his face started drooping and he just wasn't acting like himself. So we brought him in. The vet gave us entirely wrong information and totally misdiagnosed our dog. They told us he either had an embolism or had cancer. We could spend tons of money doing medical imaging but even that couldn't be definitive. So they told us to take him home and he would either get better if he had an embolism or worse if he had cancer. A few days go by and... read more
