While they have great pricing and they did a great job with the procedure itself. I was not happy with the fact that they left stitches in and then told us we didn't have to return because our cat would pull them out himself. Well 4 weeks later and they are still in my cat has not pulled one of them out. We now have to take him to a vet close by to have them removed. Luckily we are not being charged by this vet.
Not poor, terrible. Caused my cat to jump out of my car! They just lost my business and I I have been their client for over 5 years, maybe more. We've spend thousands of dollars at their clinic with two dogs and two cats. Today I took my cat in there for the 4th time in as many months. I did not have a cat carrier so I had my cat in a box. I completely understand how stressful your cat escaping must have been. However, we have had many issues with bounced checks and, along with many American businesses, do not accept them as a form of payment. We also require everything we do to be paid for up front. This is one of the ways we are able to provide services at such as low cost. The reason we require pets to be in carriers is to prevent them from escaping. The worst clinic ever! The doctor was absolutely rude! My yorkie mix has a joint problem and I when I took her to see the doctor at Value pet clinic he yanked her leg so hard, she screamed so loud I was scared to death. My dog has been in so much pain since then, it broke my heart the way he treated her and I love my dog more than anything. It has been a while since I visited that clinic. Based on Yelp reviews I called for an appt. to have my dog spayed. The price was over twice what i could find on my second call to Seattle Spay and Neuter. Value Pet Clinic quoted me a base price for spaying then added fees based on weight, age, more for anestesia, more for after surgery pain medication, and then a fee from between $25.00 and $85.00 for any scaring of the uterus for a dog over 1 year old and that cost would be determined by the vet at the time of surgery. Dr. Hughes of the Kent Value Pet Clinic performed an unnecessary surgery on my dog without anesthetic. She returned him to me bloody and traumatized. The stitches let go and he had an open wound I had to clean and care for myself at home. He lived but will have a large scar for the rest of his life.I have filed a complaint with the WA Veterinary Board of Govenors and the Better Business Bureau. I have heard horror stories about this clinic from others as well. Do not use this clinic!
So much for yearly vaccines made easy! Don't bother sending in an appointment request through the web site... they will come back and say you don't need an appointment... so much for trying to shorten the wait time by getting in and getting out quickly! Don't believe your vaccine reminder card - I have lots of family that visit from New England and the Mid West... so I always get my dog's the Lyme vaccine.
