Only Genuine Brother for our printer The ink last for a while & I like that it saves us money. I always see where you can buy products that work with Brother printers instead of using genuine brother ink. Well I tried that compatible ink & let me say, NO, they do not work the same as Genuine Brother products do. Within a week the print heads were clogged & the printer wouldn't even pick-up the cartridge was still in the machine. Only buy genuine brother products, ever, Just saying.

One thing I don't like is I don't print a lot and on package it said open package need to be used within 6 months. With all the quilting and the fabric I am going to be printing lighthouses,flip flop, anchors, and etc. so it will probably work out good.
