Saftey tab missing New cartridge does not contain saftey/sealing tab. Old cartridges had this and for some reason product has changed and eliminated tab. I always have a spare cartridge of each color on hand. The last time i went to change the magneta/red. When opening up sealed package noticed ink had leaked all over inside of package and was unusable. Return window was closed.
Not usual quality Changed all four cartridges, but only the black seemed to be an actual new one. Set the printer to clean the heads half a dozen times, but it made no difference in the print quality of the “color” cartridges. The yellow was the worst with virtually no print lines. My fault that I failed to inspect the expiration dates on the boxes when received. I did use them immediately upon receiving the order so that I could print Christmas labels.
This was not a real Brother product. This item would not print at all. It may have been used and out of ink because it was not packaged properly in the box it came in.
Used or counterfeit Arrived with no plastic security insert, could see ink in open circles. Print quality non existing. Not returning. Cannot use a CODE, 25 miles to UPS. Buying elsewhere now.

No Returns The BROTHER ink cartridge ordered 6/30/22 arrived crushed, damaged, and non-functional. BIG BROTHER was notified online and a replacement was promised, which arrived 5 days later - in good shape. I chose the option to have UPS pick up the return and provide a label, but this never happened. I patiently waited, then BIG BROTHER emailed that the return was not received and I was charged again. I vehemently notified BIG BROTHER of it's impropriety but I was ignored.
Defective Defective ink cartridge, leaking all over the machine and desktop. Immediately after installing the cartridge it wouldn't print in any mode except photo and even then it is only draft quality. I thought it was the printer until I found a pool of ink. How do you get a refund on this? I threw the box out after installing it not thinking there was anything wrong with it.
Clogs, yield is exactly 2400 pages? Currently on my 6th black ink cartridge in my Brother printer. You know what's annoying/suspicious? Every single cartridge up to now has stopped working right at 2400 pages +/- 10 pages. They say yield is approx 2400 pages, but it's never really any more than that or a whole lot less. Weird, unbelievable coincidence. Also even though I am printing at least 5 and as many as 40 pages a day after a few days the print heads start getting blocked up and it shows in the output. 3/4 empty...packaged as new Ink was packaged as new and only contained about 25% of ink. Stay away
