Complete waste of money The printer cartridge was defective and was unable to print anything at all. Complete waste of money. Also, if the color cartridges are low, the printer doesn't print anything, even if black and white printing is selected. In the future, I would avoid buying this type of printer again.
Two Stars Too expensive ink. Always run out even after just printing about 30 pages or so.
I don't get it... I sure wish I knew why the ink goes so fast on this machine. I print 3 or 4 pages a week, a reem of paper lasts over a year. They are usually just receipts or a copy or two.
Buy generic instead So expensive and runs out so quickly! Buy the generic brands....they last longer and will not hurt your wallet so much!
Leaky & uncooperative When I opened this it began to leak, continued to do so as I tried to get the cover off, finally gave up. My hands are stained with ink though I've scrubbed them with Dawn and a stiff brush. I will order more because I must, but if the new one leaks I intend to zip it into a plastic bag and return it with a warning.
Kind of Expensive for Ink I bought the brand name cartridge for $12. Worked fine, I guess. When that one ran out, I then purchased 3-Pack Brother Compatible LC75 (LC-75) Black High Yield Ink,which was a much better deal and the ink also works fine. I just can't see paying so much for ink cartridges when they can obviously be sold for much, much less.
RIP-OFF! Need to file a lawsuit. We Brother printer users need to file a class-action LAWSUIT against Brother ink manufacturers. It's a terrible rip-off. The boxes say that the cartridge gives a "300-page yield." On what planet?? I'm lucky to get 30 pages, and that's about two square inches of text and the remainder as white space. Further, even if I use the black-only setting on the printer, all the CYM cartridges go just as dry as the black. Will reorder this soon! This was much less expensive than purchasing from a big box store, as I have always done in the past. It's the same ink, same brand as what I previously bought. I will be reordering soon.
Lasted only 2 months We have printed maybe 50 pages and now it says it needs to be replaced. Lasted only 2 months.
