It's been a few years since I've eaten here. It's nice see some updates to their menu. They have a section for brunch and I decided to try their avocado eggs benny. The potatoes pave were well made and delicious. The service was a bit slow for a non busy time but the server passed by a few time to check in if things were okay. I would come back again it's still very nice inside .
Local is a solid gastro pub that features Ontario beers on tap listed on a handy sign hanging on the wall as well as international brews. The Pilsner Urquell served in their matching mug was a nice touch. Two floors, downstairs more casual, an outside sitting area for when the weather cooperates. Lots of TVs showing sports. I came here on a date last week! Had the best experience with our server Skelly, she gave some great drink suggestions and was super attentive. Food and drinks were amazing, love the overall vibes. Will be back
Nice sport pub ambience inside, relaxing patios outside or upstairs. Good, tasty meals. My server, Dekra, was friendly and responsive.
We attended Local for lunch and had a great experience. Brook was our server and she was pleasant, helpful and efficient. There was a good selection and food and beers to choose from. The patio had umbrellas which kept things cool. Georgie.
I love the setting in this restaurant . There is a regular patio as well as a rooftop. Friendly staff, excellent food and great atmosphere. Parking is a bit problematic and limited but there is plenty of parking across the street.

Food: 3/5 Service: 3/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 I came here with a bunch of my coworkers on a weekday. We made a reservation beforehand as it was close to Sky Zone, where we were before. This is the GOAT of restaurants in Toronto, every time I go I enjoy the scrumptious amazing food, amazing ambiance, being a low-key bar with allow my kids, amazing service, with the waiters being very nice.

January 19/2024: Lunch w Slipp. There was nothing specifically wrong with this restaurant. The servers were adequate, the food was small but not bad tasting & the location itself was ok. Bathroom needed some cleaning. The sandwich was $45.00!! Holy crap! Small sandwich, 8 onion rings...that was it. It's hit its breaking point. I mean $45.00!! Seriously!?
