The local may be a little pricey for what some may consider pub food, but their elevated dishes are sure to please. I'm a big fan of their selection of burgers, there new Local burger is a favourite, and that also includes their Brooklyn burger (topped with onion rings) is a top pick for my boyfriend and I. These, coupled with their selection of local beers and warm atmosphere make it the perfect place to meet up with friends, go out on a date, or spend time with family

YES. We went in in the morning and were happy to find they served their full menu and not just the brunch menu at that time. My husband had the burger and I had the fish tacos. He enjoyed his burger - it tasted a bit smoky which was a bit different, and was huge. My fish tacos were EXCELLENT- they tasted FRESH (I don't even know how - it's not like they're dragging the fish in from our Toronto waters in the middle of winter) and even their cabbage seemed fresh! Absolutely love Local Leaside. I wait all year for it to be a hot summer day to really enjoy their rooftop patio. Cool and hip place to grab drink with my hockey team and we all love the tasty grub! The staff are super warm, and the manager Bella, was super cool and friendly! Food is delicious, drinks are good and the vibe is sensational. FOOD: FISH TACOS. That's all I'm gonna say. Best eggs benedict I've ever had, pretty sure they're made with magic. Delicious every time and really good garlic potatoes with them as well. Disappointed that they removed the Kung Fu punch from the menu though because it was amazing

Local Leaside is my go to pub. Its the site of a former bank and the interior has a unique industrial look and feel to it. They always offer amazing service and above average quality chain restaurant food. The star of the show is their ground level bar with a large number of TVs to watch a game and decent craft beer selection which is frequently rotated. Food is great, Music is way too loud for a meeting. I work in nightclubs so am around music but for lunch hours people are coming to talk to each other please keep it at a low level. I understand in the night sure it makes sense but places like this should evaluate their choices better. I really wanted to make this my go to meeting place as its pretty close to where I live.

Had the new Breakfast sandwich at Local Leaside today, ............AWESOME !!! Not a bacon n egg sandwich but a supersonic flavour bomb The toasted brioche bun carries the smoked bacon, egg, cheddar, lettuce, tomatoe n avocado with a side of country potatoes Straight up 11 out of 10 Enjoy one, you'll be glad I wrote this review

This place has everything you need from a local bar. Everyone who works there is so welcoming and fun. I have tried everything on the menu and it's a step above anything else in the area. I haven't tried all the beers because they constantly changing and trust me I'm trying. Evan runs the place, Ally holds the main bar down, and Leslie will serve you up stairs in the adult only bar. By far the best bar around and the main reason everything else around doesn't last! I'm living the Vi va Local.
