Customer Service is Poor. We live in Geneva who recently changed to this company. We had the larger can and were told we would receive a can of the same size when the new company took over. Instead we got the small can. So I e-mailed them and they responded that they would exchange t out for me. I sent my original email on July 7th. Their response was on July 11th. I asked if I should leave my can out or when they would do the exchange and was told " Normally we will contact you prior to removal and exchanges". When I didn't... read more
I have to give one star because zero stars are not an option. Your customer service is horrible. After calling and emailing to just find out a date when my garbage bin and larger recycling can would arrive, I was assigned a second garbage bin. I did not receive a call when to swap out my recycling bin either. When I received the extra bins, I immediately call to make sure I will not be billed for two garbage bins and to asked for both to be picked up. 2 weeks recycling hasn’t been picked up and no can dropped off yet. Tired of calling and being put on hold. Freaking joke and ridiculous.
Lakeshore has recently started servicing my town. My recycle tote can exactly when they said it would! 6 phone calls to them trying to find out when my trash tote would arrive has netted me zero.....with the exception of a 2nd recycle tote??? I’ve been promised calls back and nothing. Starting out with a bad felling when it comes to their customer service.
It would have been nice for Geneva to coordinate the delivery of new bins from LRS prior to taking the old from Advanced...now we’re without recycling bins for the weekend...NOT a good start to new service
Lakeshore Recycling is the worst of the worst! I will be contacting my attorney regarding their discriminatory practices and their surcharges. If anyone knows of a cheap way to terminate a contract with them I'd be very interested. Thanks!
The driver would leave the dumpsters unlocked, wouldn't show up on time and wouldn't return the dumpsters to the designated spot. The dumpsters would be left in the middle of the parking lot. Customer service was a nightmare. Don't use this company. They are terrible to deal with.
A garbage man from LRS yelled and cursed at me while my young son watched in horror. This happened after I calmly and politely asking him to move his truck so that I can move into my parking spot in the back of the apartment building and after waited for him to finish his work loading the garbage, lighting cigarette and smoking, using our portable toilet without permission and sitting in the truck using the phone. Lakeshore left shattered glass and ceramics all over our street after this mornings pickup. On top of the billing issues we had earlier this year Lakeshore is really not doing their best as a company.
