Ordered carry out from this location last night - when I arrived for pick up they had mistakenly given my food to someone else. Further I was told that I would have to wait another 20 minutes for them to get it right. Manager assured me at the second pick up time that he would discount the order. I was turned off by the cleanliness of the place . We went in early were the only ones to sit for dinner and the floor was filthy. After bringing our food out the gnats were flying all around our table. The food is average however they use the same bland sweet diced tomato sauce on their pasta and pizza. Will not be returning again and can see why this place is never busy.

Highly unrecommended for any catering event! I ordered catering to be delivered at Noon and by 12:20 it still hadn't arrived! Called the business to find out and I was told the driver would be leaving "soon". -_- I will update my review with the exact time it arrives. Highly unrecommended for any shrimp platter - ordered the Shrimp Parmigiana and it came with 3 whole pieces of shrimp. This restaurant is ZERO for ZERO in my book!

Should have went with the pizza. It looked pretty darn good. The place is small, and decorated as "authentically Italian" as you can get in a strip mall. I think the servers were a little over loaded, as ours was attentive but not terribly friendly. My dish was ok. Fettucini with marinara and Italian sausage. Huge portion, but swimming in sauce. Meh. Agree with P.K. below. I'm his co-worker and I was there with him. The salad looked inedible and I feel his pain. I've been to the Maciano's here in Rockford about 4 times. Of those 4 trips, I had pizza 3 times, and on my last trip, I had a cheese sandwhich. The first experience was disappointing to say the least, not so much with the quality of the food but more with the service. Was my first time. I was impressed by the setting. However food didn't live up to the standards. Ordered Maciano's Chopped Salad. Looked nice but unfrotunetly bacon/ fried chicken pieces were stale. Notified the waitress and she asked if I want another salad. Heck no. Why would I eat the same stale salad? I guess it was my first and last time going to this place.
