This place has fantastic italian. I'm a huge fan of their pasta dishes and Tirimasu. They deliver..but the restaurant is a nice place to have dinner as well. This is one of my favorite places that deliver and highly recommend them.

First, I have to disclose the fact that I have never actually been to Maciano's. This review is based solely on the pizza. My wife was in Rockford visiting family and was able to bring a pizza on board her flight home (the owner was very accommodating in that he prepared an unbaked pizza for her with instructions on what to do with it when she got home). You know pizza is good when you are talking about the next time you're going to be getting this particular pizza WHILE YOU'RE STILL EATING IT!!! Which is exactly what happened to my husband and I the other day after ordering Maciano's pizza to go! We ordered a side salad, a Chicago style pizza with sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers, and those dough nuggets with powdered sugar on them. Oh, and two cookies. A cute place in a little strip mall off of Harrison, this Italian restaurant really hit the spot. Though they were a little busy for lunch, my mom and I arrived just before a rush and managed to get a booth in the back. Our waiter seemed to be taking care of the majority of the tables, but he still managed to get us drinks and take our orders quickly. A favorite restaurant of my wife and I. It is not too big, which makes it a great atmosphere. They offer good portions at reasonable prices, and have good lunch specials. They have several good sandwiches, calzones, and pizzas. The breadsticks are great, and sometimes we'll pick them up as an appetizer with our home cooked meals. I was less thrilled about the lasagna, but I don't mind since there's so many other things that I enjoy.

First place that we found after moving here from Chicago that makes a good Chicago deep dish and Stuffed Pizza. Salads are good here too. Love the spinach, apple and gorgonzola salad.

3rd time now multiple items missing from my order. Wont order delivery again. Never had problems up until about 2 years ago. I'm pretty much done ordering from them. However food still okay.

I'm putting in this review while in the restaurant waiting for my order. I come here often, and typically have no issues or some that I understand. Today is pretty unacceptable 40 min to get a slice of pizza! I was dining in also. I paid after getting it. Didn't want to make a scene. One apology, but just processed it and let me on my way. I come frequent because I work in area, and now I am not returning no matter how convenient it is.
