Being budget minded, we often find ourselves ordering pizza or pasta from the national chains or cheap joints, but after reading reviews on here and other sites, we decided to splurge for an occasion and order from Maciano's. Not really a fan of the pasta here, but the pizza is top notch. Always happy to bring a togo pizza over to a friends house to watch the game. I'm partial to the thin crust, and my girlfriend was happy to see there are gluten free options.
The pizza we ordered was fresh, hot and delicious. Love their food, would recommend this place. The only downside was the wait for delivery. But with food this good, it's worth the wait.
My fiance and I ate for the first time at Maciano's on Friday. I have to be Gluten Free due to a medical diagnosis and it's been almost impossible to find a good GF pizza! All restaurants that I've been to, that offer them, are always serving a frozen GF pizza which tastes like a cheap 4.99 version you can easily buy in a grocery store's frozen aisle. Great little cozy place with some really good thin crust pizza, every thing looked good on the menu, but I had the pizza before and I just had to have it again. Maybe next time I will get one to go also. The wait staff was kind and quick. All was quite affordable. It is rare to find a real pizza place in Rockford in fact almost impossible, but these guys have got it done pat. Yum, their pizza, salads and side dishes are SOOOO good, much better than Sams Pizza On Charles, where the owners there treat customers badly!!!
Excellent!!!! good service and value. We lived inn Byron for years and this was a favorite. Although there is a similar franchise in las Vegas there is no comparison. $2 beers might be a draw but the good food will have you coming back!
Always delicious! Love the food! I visit this place regular for eat in, carry out, or delivery. Love the staff and atmosphere! Must try! I've never had anything that wasn't good!
Amazing pasta, whenever I crave Italian I order from here. Only giving 4 stars because they don't make their own ravioli and they tend to forget my extra Parmesan on the side. Highly recommend!!
