Verified Renter Nice place to live in the Hyde Park Community, close to stores, shops , great transportation to downtown via bus, and Metra. Quiet, friendly tenants.
Very good building I really enjoy living at Madison Park. The staff is patient and very helpful, the lobby is beautiful and for a tiny space the fitness center is actually decent. It's also really easy to get downtown since it's walking distance to the 6, and actually during rush hour the bus picks up and drops off right outside the complex. The one drawback is they may price me out as they continue to raise the rent, but I have no complaints about the actual building.
Hyde Park With a laundry room & fitness center located in the building this building already has more amenities than other buildings I've found in Hyde Park. All apartments also have central AC/heating and come equipped with hooded ovens, microwaves, and dishwashers. The management office also signs and holds any packages you have delivered. The only negative is perhaps the contract price for rental is raised with each year for no reason but simply because your renewing.
Nice apartment in the heart of Hyde Park Nice apartment complex, very near the University of Chicago, the staff has always been diligent and courteous with my inquiries. It is a quiet building in general, and I would say the only thing that I would have liked more would be in unit laundry and a deck for pool/BBQ
Madison Park: The happiest place to live Madison Park Apartments is a friendly building. Everyone I have encountered is so nice and very helpful. The management goes out of their way to be accommodating. My apartment has a view of the skyline and I have my own fireworks show every fourth of July and New Years. I have central air and control my heat. I have a dishwasher, microwave, and plenty of cabinets. Plenty of room and closet space. Verified Renter The staff is pleasant and professional, the janitorial staff does an excellent job cleaning. Madison Park is an older building with an aging resident population but for the most part the building is well maintained. Presently, the backdoor handles and the ramp’s guard railing need repair/replacement.

Verified Renter I love the idea of the apartment but the minor things that could’ve been fixed when I first moved in still haven’t been fixed and who’s to say the office still has that paper. I still have no light in my room I’ve been using a ring light this whole time renting this unit. Seems like a lot of things were half fixed just for someone to move in for the money. Verified Renter When we originally moved in during the spring the building was ideal, now it appears that they are under staffed. Everyday the laundry room is flooded & its 1-2 days to be fixed, the lobby needs to be repainted, the elevator walls are rarely cleaned, and the maintenance techs are providing mediocre services.
