It's pretty good but stinks that they do not offer highlights. Not exactly what I was looking for

The only reason it got one star is my review would not post without one. I booked an appointment at Madison Reed for my daughter to get her hair colored. NO WHERE on the booking page itself was there a mention of an age restriction for services. When I called to confirm because the appointment time changed in an email, I spoke with a person who switched me back to my original time. I love the concept of the Madison Reed color bars but this is the second one I've been to and the experience is just not improving after my third visit here. Just be prepared to be here for a while. They are either behind on the color side or the shampoo side. It's also very weird that when they are behind they don't help each other out. Like if my colorist isn't doing anything why am I waiting in line to be shampooed or if another colorist doesn't have a client and another colorist is two behind, why can't I go to someone e... read more

Do not go where if you are a blonde, I repeat do not go here if you have blonde hair! My hair is completely fried, it's been falling out so bad since I went there. I'm devastated. They do not know what they are doing with blonde hair. Save your hair & money . I can't believe I paid for this.

18 & under not allowed service To all the moms in Forsyth county, I made my 15 year old daughter an appointment for balayage service. I created an account, entered my credit card number for the payment and received confirmation of her appointment. I brought her there 15 minutes prior to our appointment at 12:30 and was turned away. I was informed that they do not do services on anyone younger than the age of 18, even in the accompaniment of a parent. Ridiculously expensive . At my old salon which was Aveda that price would have gotten me a haircut and blowout. I was stunned that I was charged an extra $100.oo for partial highlights to be done with my touch up. My colorist was very nice though

Not very helpful or friendly. The lady working acted like I was inconveniencing her by coming into the store

I got my hair colored 2 weeks ago. The colorist was very unfriendly. She didn't greet me, just started in. I showed her the color I wanted. She seemed to understand but when I was done my hair was way too dark, not blonde as I had asked for. Much darker than when I started. I was not able to get another appointment at the same salon to fix the color for several weeks. I had to go to another one 45 minutes away. They fixed and added some highlights but still not the color I wanted. I won't be back.

They do a great job when I visit the salon. However, I have had 4 appointment canceled at the last minute.
