I have used their products to color my hair at home for several years. They recently changed the formula or are having production issues and the creamy hair color that stays in place is no longer what they produce. Once you mix the color with the activator it turn to a watery mess that runs all over. Won't be using this any longer.

made a 1:45pm appointment, they called two hours later to say they were canceling because that time slot was already booked. Had to move my appointment to 2:30pm, given I had already driven to the area. Arrived at 2:30pm, was not greeted. Sat down and waited for someone to come up to the register to check in. once I did I was sat down and waited another 25 minutes in chair for the girl to begin. color was supposed to be taken off at 45 minutes however it took one hour. My hair ended up stripey with some very light pieces and some very brassy. And the back wasn't touched other than a few thick pieces underneath. As more clients came in after me, he was doing multiple people so it was rushed and it definitely shows. Very disappointed

I called this salon maybe 4 times and no one answers. I get they are busy but I did not prompt me to leave a message. I was online trying to schedule an appointment that I was locked into and and soon as I went to pay it said sorry choose another day but I wanted to talk to a real person about what I wanted and got no help.

I have come here once before and really liked it. Todays experience ruined it for me. I paid for highlights and they were left on too long. After pointing out that the top of my head was orange - they gave me toner to go. Apparently I am supposed to fix their mistake and pay for it. This job took 3.5 hours because they over book themselves.

I went into the Madison Reed Hair Color Bar -Gilbert with great expectations. I had booked roots, balayage, and blowout. I showed my stylist a picture of previous color that I have had done. Now I know they don't do certain things there...I had done the research...so the picture was just a frame of reference. She said that doing foil Highlights instead would achieve the results that I was desiring. I can't recommend this place. I wish I would have never went. I rank it in my top 2 worst hair experiences (and I've even had my hair done at a few beauty schools). They only do color and they didn't do it well. My roots turned orange in the salon even though my service was specifically to remove any copper tones that I already had in my roots. They tried to make it right. First by adding another toner/gloss on the roots. That didn't work. They apologized and said they were confused on how it came out "so warm" aka oran... read more

don't recommend! had to cut so much length off my hair. their products destroyed my hair. to make up for the damage their products caused they offered a toner... it did nothing for my hair. i wish i never would've gotten my hair done i miss my hair. and i wake up every morning. look at my reflection. and cry.

I was so excited yo try this place since I listened to crime junkie and they do advertising there so I drive for and hour to get to this new place called Madison reed where they color you hair do not it be confused with a real hair salon that has the stylist , blowouts,haircuts etc. In here they just put the hair color leave it on for 35 minutes with a timer never check on you , wash and then if you want it dry it's $25 more Or they have a bar where you can blow dry your hair (I would hate to go out with wet hair especiall... read more
