I usually have a very good experience, but was very disappointed this time. I changed my appointment and went the day before the original appointment. I was supposed to get roots and blow dry. when I changed the appointment on the phone, the operator didn't make it for a blow dry also. So, when I tried to get one, at the salon. I was refused, because they didn't have anyone to do it. i can't do it myself, so I left with wet hair.

STAY AWAY if you have dark hair! I am deeply unsatisfied with the service I received at the Madison Reed Rockville location. I came in to have a balayage application and before the service began I clearly conveyed my expectation of the end result to the hair colorist by showing her several photos. I asked if my expectation was realistic and if the color was achievable on my current hair. Would not recommend. Very disorganized, messy location. Have never seen the same colorist more than once so I'm guessing a lot of turnover. Unfriendly as well.

This was my first time visiting the salon. I've had reservations switching colorists but my stylist left my salon so I was trying to find someone that could provide the same quality of color service with balayage. The young lady who was assigned to me was very nice but the color she painted on my hair was no where near what I was expecting. The general manager was rude and deceitful when scheduling my appointment. I was told to quickly sign a "covid waiver" and later found out I actually signed a "sensitivity patch test" which of course I was never offered or even informed of. Absolutely unscrupulous. To make matters worse, their "highlights" service is a joke- they are unwilling to accommodate requests and cannot offer color options. You "get what you get" and that's it. Don't bother - it's a waste of money.

Products are excellent, location is more convenient than Bethesda, but unfortunately service very very poor!one example, the person who shampooed my hair used the same towel that was on me filled with hair color to dry my hair after my shampoo. Not acceptable!

I booked an appointment 4 days in advance to get a root touch up and gloss done. I sent an email out asking if they do fashion colors like rose gold or pink and got no reply for 3 days. I called and asked the girl if they do fashion colors and she said they did and the stylist would be able to recommend and color however I want since they are all professionals. I put 1 star because there is no way to put 0 star!!!!! Unbelievable !!! We asked for highlights like in the first picture and my daughter came back with orange hair !!!! I hope they will reimburse me and fix it. I will keep you update . Don't waste your time and your money !
