Wonderful service and an inviting environment, Mangiamo's is a perfect choice for dinner. The ambiance is welcoming and the dining rooms are comfortable with great old photos. The fireplaces being lit add all the more to the ambiance. The details that are still intact in this beautiful old home add so much to the dining experience. Very cool Dinner experience in Grand Rapids. Feels like you never leave your living room for a 4 star experience.
Wasn't very busy at 8pm on a Friday...lots of empty tables. Although we loved our first experience here last February, this time the service was painfully slow...my boyfriend's pizza was just okay, the Amish roasted half chicken was delicious!
We were pleasantly surprised that same day reservations were easy to come by on a Saturday! Our server was very accommodating for our large group. Good food, great service! We wished the menu was a bit more extensive & learned that they are revamping it. Would definitely come back!
I met a group of friends here for drinks and appetizers. We got a variety of plates including the cheese board, garlic bread with whole cloves of garlic, fried brussels sprouts with honey. It was all delicious. The atmosphere is cozy even though it's pretty spacious. I'll try some of their main dishes next time. The pizza sauce was a little on the spicy side. If they had one that didn't have as much kick, then I think my kids would love it.

I reserved a table to celebrate my anniversary and while we were waiting for our appetizers the boring classic pop track was turned off and an accordion player came into the dining room. He played a song for the room and proceeded to make his rounds to each table asking if we had any requests and playing for each of us individually.
