Excellent place to hold a casual business dinner!
There for my wifes birthday.. They brought her the wrong entree, took both of them back to Kitchen and got it squared away.. Waitress dealt with it the best she could..Not sure what happened. No worries.. we'll be back
Usually our service is great here, tonight the waitress seemed a little flustered and overly busy. She would come around once every 15 minutes. Not typical! I love this restaurant and everything it has to offer. The unusual service will not keep me from coming back!
I've always wanted to check out Mangiamo! as I live in the neighborhood. I'd heard great things about it, but was slightly disappointed by their weak menu choices. 3 pages worth of alcohol against two pages of food. For a couple who don't drink, this was frustrating. I loved the atmosphere, bu the next time we're in the mood for good food and good atmosphere, we'll probably head to Vitale's for a little more variety.
Mangiamo is a local legend and we tried a very safe dish along with a more daring one. Neither of them were spectacular, but unique and fun for a variety. Our dinner for two very quickly hit the $70.00 mark, so there is no way that we will go back any time soon, but the character of the restaurant was fantastic.
Went there for dinner and took some out-of-town visitors with us. A great experience had by all.
Ran a 50% off special for Election Day. I think they weren't ready for the crowd. I heard the same thing at the Blue Water Grill that night. Service was exceptionally slow, which usually doesn't happen.
There were four of us; a foodie, two vegetarians and an Italian food lover. All of us came away thoroughly satisfied. Mangiamo has a lovely variety of choices and executes them all very well. The flavors are wonderful but so is the presentation of the food. The vegeatble tower entree was especially impressive. I really appreciate that they give me enough food to satisfy my appetite but not so much that I feel like a glutton when they set it down in front of me.
