The facility and help were very supportive, knowledgeable and helpful. [name removed] was amazing, receptionist and supportive nursing staff were attentive to Mom. I do think that the food menu could've offered more options for the residents to pick from. This was the first place that was referred to us from A Place for Mom and we would definitely recommend them to others!

Really do your homework and ask as many questions as possible before selecting Pacifica Merced. The staff are friendly, but the care is lacking. And I don't think it's' worth what we're paying.

My parents wanted to be in Merced. I'm happy with the care that they are receiving here. I would recommend them to friends and family.

This is a great place; they provide almost all of the services that my father needs and it's a nice place to live. I would go there myself, in fact, I'm thinking of it for the future.

We had some issue with the community. At first we were excited that my loved one was going to be there. My loved one ended up falling multiple times during the stay. The community did assist the family with hospice. They don't have enough staff, and this was challenging to us. My loved one was never in their own clothes, and my loved one's jewelry went missing during their time at the community. After my loved one passed the community never expressed their condolences to the family and this was discouraging to us.

They need to work on their meals. They need to have more to offer the residents for choices. My loved one was in another community and the residents were able to order off the menu with what they wanted. This is what needs to happen at this community. Overall the staff and community are nice and friendly. This is a great place for your loved one. Pacifica Senior Living fit just what my mom was looking for, she just needed a little place where she could be independent and all of her needs are taken care of. She has a studio apartment and it is very adequate for her needs. They do many activities such as crafts, cooking, trips to the store, etc. A lot of it has been hindered during to covid though. I would definitely recommend them to others who are looking.
