My parent has been a resident for several months. The community is quite beautiful, but service is severely lacking, management is disorganized, and the food doesn't take into consideration the needs to elderly people with dentures. I would suggest looking elsewhere if your elderly loved one truly needs assisted living. If they need minimal care then the place is fine, but I am considering moving my parent.
