I work in the healthcare field, and I always enjoy when I have the opportunity to work at The Meridian. I also enjoy when i am able to refer a client to this community. The staff, Tee, Launa, Shaun, Jessica, Socorro, Austin, are extremely professional and care about their residents. The Meridian has the highest quality of care. Their nurses and carestaff work extremely well with outside care agencies when needed to ensure all needs are being met. Our aunt recently moved into The Meridian and it has been such a blessing. Her home was becoming too much for her and depressing. She had no socialization, and nothing to do all day except watch TV. We found out about the meridian from a friend and decided to take a few looks. We got her settled into her studio, with the help of Shaun and Austin, which was a perfect size for her, and she has since blossomed. Difficult to put into words how much I like this place and the staff in it. Austin, my first contact there, seamlessly helped me get my mom from the hospital into a studio at The Meridian in one day. She feels like she’s at The Four Seasons. He appears to know everyone by name. And, two days after her move he went and brought her down to an art class. The Meridian is a top-notch community! They take such amazing care of their residents. The leadership team of Launa, Shaun, Austin, and Lisa could not be better. It it always such an amazing feeling every time you walk thru the door. The biggest thing that sets them apart is the lifestyle their residents have. 6 months ago today I moved into The Meridian at Lake San Marcos Independent Living. "I think I've died and gone to Heaven and wish I'd moved here yrs. ago". Our Director Launa and her Staff go above and beyond to see that we are all taken care of addressing our individual needs. Delicious food/tons of activities/shopping trips and a monthly calendar with endless choices of things to do. Assisted Living & Memory Care are part of the Complex so I'll never have to move again. I love it!

Mom moved to The MLSM over 4 years ago. Great atmosphere. Caring staff. Made many friends quickly with all the activities available. Last year we needed to have her transition to the Memory Care Unit. Staff helped make that go as smooth as possible. Having Mom at The Meridian gives me peace of mind that she is well cared for when I can not be with her. She is happy in her home. Would definitely recommend if these are the kind of things you are needing to look at for your loved one.
