The tour today provided great insight and consultative services for and with my parents.
I saw head nurse today. We discussed levels of care. I was pleased with our conversation. The tour was great, was a possible apartment.
Great introduction to this community! We had lots of questions and they answered every one. . .
They did a very nice renovation. However, their elevator keeps breaking down (my mom[information removed] and uses a walker so that is concerning) and they seem to care not one whit about the dining experience of their residents. My mom is diabetic and they rarely provide alternative desserts for them (or if they do, they run out of them quickly because there ARE so many diabetics), And then they do not provide anything for them but say instead that there is "always sugar-free Jell-O." We chose Meridian at Lantana because he is able to age in place here, they have different tiers and we really liked that aspect. We do have a friend who works here as well which makes us feel more comfortable. As far as the value it was not on the high or low end, it was perfect. It has a very homey environment. They are renovating the facility so it looks brand new. Everyone here has bene awesome.
