Get directionsIt was good initially but went downhill quick. Too much overturn of employees and the food end up being not so great. I think the biggest thing was that the staff turnover was big and ended up not being friendly. The room itself was good.
Business response:
We read all the online reviews and, when applicable, use them as teachable moments. We have experienced unexpected staff turnover recently, but we are considering this an opportunity for improvement and look forward to all the ways we can positively impact our service level. For you information, our menus are approved by a registered dietician, but we are always open to specific suggestions, so please feel free to talk to our dining services manager.
My parents moved here in July 2023 and in the beginning things were decent. Food was good, activities and services were all positive. That lasted about two months and things have gone downhill since. Massive staff turnovers. The Chef left, the menu options are minimized, they are constantly out of food options and residents are not given alternatives. Not offered a lot of fresh fruits and veggies at all. The housekeeping service is minimal, they will vacuum and wipe down the bathroom. Turn over in that areas also means there... read more

Meridian at Stone Creek has been subjected to three negative reviews from this reviewer whose intent appears to leave a negative impression on this community. According to the licensing organization, our community has followed all the regulations and are in good standing. Our staff are dedicated, trustworthy, and can be relied upon to consistently meet care requirements.
State officials have been contacted. An Ombudsman is being sent to investigate no hot water, low food services, cleanliness, and especially patient care. The Better Business Bureau has also been contacted as they conclude the broken promises advertised in which residents are paying for.
My loved one was previously a resident at Meridian at Stone Creek and our experience was poor. My suggestion to others: make sure that they are doing all of the things that you are paying them to do to care for your loved one!
Over the course of 6 mos this place has gone from great and clean to suffering staffing shortages resulting in unhealthy uncleaniness and restaurant server shortages. Big personnel turnover. Hoping for changes for the better soon
Make sure you read the fine print before you sign anything. The people who live here are great. Maintenance is not very good. It can take a really long time for them to come by, and then they don't do a very good job. Cleanliness suffered a little between Covid and some construction going on, which caused things to be blowing around everywhere. Lunch and dinner are not so good. Breakfast is a little better. With Covid going on, they haven't really been offering any activities, which was very disappointing. But the independen... read more

Meridian not for us. No aging in place, if 1 partner starts needing assistance. They are moved to another building, but spouse stays in Independent living, 2 rents.
Business response:
Here at Meridian at Stone Creek, we strive for excellence, and are disappointed to hear that you received anything less.
This place is smoke and mirrors. Beautiful on the outside and looks are deceiving. The food is horrible and kitchen staffed by very inexperience people. They put food out that is the same thing over and over and just call it something different. The vegetable of the day last night was mushrooms, onions and peppers. That is not a proper vegetable side dish. The cleaning is a bit subpar, and not really a thorough cleaning. Residents have emergency buttons but have been told to call 911 as no one will respond to emergency butto... read more

I am a Registered Nurse who’s in laws reside at this facility. The one thing we have learned about senior living options is there is Non-Profit and For-Profit facilities. Non- profit facilities operate on different principles, such as dedication to seniors. For-profit facilities have requirements for a return on investment, that necessitates to keep costs low which can negatively impact a residents quality of life. Meridian at Stone Creek is owned by a For-profit corporation called Pacifica. We have found our experience at t... read more
