Scanner is great, look elsewhere for a printer With the niche exception of printing photos, inkjet printers are kind of a scam. This printer is no different. The ink cartridges register as nearly empty after pathetically few pages. I bought it for the scanner, which is great. I needed an Automatic Document Feeder/ADF scanner, and those can get painfully expensive on their own. The flatbed scanner is also capable of scanning photos at up to 1200x1200 DPI. Good printer for the occasional print job I bought this printer to meet my small printing needs. It works great for the casual printer who only has a few small jobs a week. I have NOT tried photo printing with this. I suspect it would not be a good photo printer.
