Pretty easy to use and quality is good for the price. A good value. Have not had it long enough to evaluate ink usage but seems a little better than my last printer (HP) which was great in quality but a real ink hog. Might be a little confusing setting up for someone who is not familiar with how to work with downloads, etc.. I am but it still took a couple tries to get everything set up and linked into my wireless system. Once done thought it works great. Nothing wrong with a simple black box Given that I was replacing a 20 year old printer (literally, purchased in 2001), the mere fact that this works every time is a big plus. I was surprised that it turns itself on every once in a while to try to get me to print out greeting cards or something; one way to sell ink, I guess. Quick replacement for a printer that died. Just what I need in a small, basic printer. Print quality is good, size fits into my bookcase, easy to set up with internet, quick deliver. No problems so far.
Amazing Absolutely best printer I've ever owned! The touch screen makes all tasks very easy even for those not familiar with this printer. The print quality is great even on standard settings. Easiest setup to print from computer or phone.
User friendly, reliable, & a quality printer for a reasonable price. Great little printer and easy setup. I bought it for home use and had an HP printer prior to this which never worked well for me. So went back to Brother and will not change again. The ink that came with it was only 1/2 full and black was empty so I recommend ordering ink when you purchase.
Photo Paper Print quality was good. Would like a larger touch screen and doesn't feed my photo paper; recommends buying Brother brand paper.
