Nice desktop printer It is a nice size for my desk. The touch screen works well, though the instructions are somewhat limited. I had to download the manual.
Buy lots of paper for this copier. The Brother MFC-J895DW does a good job of printing. Copies don't take long and look very good. The ink is easy to replace. There are many helpful, step-by-step assistance features built into it. Which is a good thing when it comes to correcting paper jams, because that happens almost every time I try to copy something. The paper has to be set just right in the paper tray (not nearly as easy to do as one would hope); the machine balks when the tray is filled to over 50% of its capacity, and ... read more
Compared to the other multi-functional printers, this one is the EASIEST and MOST RELIABLE I HATE printers... I've gone through SO many different brands... expensive ones, multifunctional ones, single-purpose ones, small ones, cheap ones, etc., etc., etc. Finally, I decided to shell out a few extra bucks for the Brother, the brand that SPECIALIZES in printers. SO HAPPY with it. Easy to set up, easy to use, fast and high quality prints... faith in printers restored (for now).
Another fantastic Brother printer experience. Replaced an extremely uncooperative HP Deskjet 2622 with this Brother laserjet. Setup was easy compared to HP and the Instant Ink program which is didn't work for me. I have an older Brother laserjet and have not had a problem since I purchased it 7 years ago. The Brother app makes it easy to print from your phone. It's sleeps when it not printing as compared to the HP which was always on. Best Buy Great all in one for home office or home school! This is my 3rd Brother in 20 years. They all still work!! I gave the older B&W Laser printers to the kids for printing school reports. I needed a color all-in one that was affordable for my telework. I hesisitated but went with an ink jet to save money. Works on my Mac OSX 10.15 Works OK and setup was indeed simple. Print times are kinda slow over wi-fi.There are multiple ways to connect to the printer that I have not tried but I am going to purchase a USB to thunderbolt print cable to see if that helps with the speed. The slow down is the time it takes to find the printer once its starts printing its fast. An indicator that shows an incoming job would be beneficial. Great printer!! We needed a printer for a long time and I researched for forever! So glad I chose this one! We didn't need something fancy, but I love the features this comes with. My favorite? It's ink last a good long while! AND I can scan items and send them straight to my email. So cool! It connected quickly to my wifi, I can print from my phone or tablet, and it's quick. Great Printer! Finally For years i had a wireless canon printer and it worked ok.. The wireless connection would always need to be re connected.. took forever to print via my cell phone. This printer has been amazing! super easy to hook up.. the speed on printing normal word pages is great. When i print from my phone by the time i walk into my home office the document is already printed. I love it.
