Great for line drawings to color or paint I am an artist and need a printer that will lay down lines that don’t smear even when using a blender pencil, alcohol markers, and watercolor paint. It's a wonderful printer contains all the necessary features to perform an excellent product. Great printer! Had one for years but decided to upgrade.
Nice improvement over the old Canon it replaced This printer is fast and has good print quality. Easy to setup on my Mac and functions perfectly with the MacOS and Airplay devices. It has a rear tray for printing individual envelopes. I'm still using the sample size inks that came with the printer. Easily wakes from sleep mode to print. Great printers-I wouldn't buy any other brand. This is my third Brother printer. One sat each year for six months during the Winter in New England with no heat and in the late Spring when we returned, it worked just fine. We've moved South so I passed it on to a friend. I just replaced the one that sat all Summer in the South. It has decided it's tired, was fussy about printing with black, so I replaced it with this MFC-J895DW. Happy all around.
Good printer at a good price I bought this to replace my old HP printer which died just after having installed new ink cartridges. The Brother printer was highly rated by Consumer's Reports so I bought it. Some difficulty in installing the drivers, but overall it wasn't bad. The printer works reliably. Duplex function does not work with scanning. But regular duplex printing is fine. So far no paper jams. Ink cartridges are cheaper than my old HP's. That's a bonus. Haven't used tech support so didn't rate it.
