Very, very, very slow I bought this to replace my old HP all-in-one. I wasn't too bad to set up -- but if you read the disclosures on the software, it seems that Brother is looking at your prints and scans (though they disavow that personal identifiers are used). That said, it is extremely slow to print and scan. Extremely. And...the ink cartridges don't hold a lot. Also, the paper tray doesn't hold very much. I can't recommend that anyone buy this unless they print very little.
Worth. Easy to use, was cheaper than most printers of its tier when I bought it, and the software is kept updated. Nice.
Competent, useful personal printer. I bought this printer to replace another brand that quit on me. It is a competent, middle-of-the-road printer that does its job well. Would like to be able to change print quality to a little higher level, but since it’s not for professional use, it’s ok. The NFC feature does not work with iOS, just Android.
Super easy installation and good for home office Yes, the print quality overall is not super duper great, but it's OK for home office use. We will probably use it more for scanning, so not a critical problem. It was very easy and quick to install and I like the idea of tilted screen touch. We use it with Wifi and works great so far. Oh, another con would be... it shakes quite a lot when printing lol

Same Printer Newer Version We had an older version of this printer for a long time. Loved it. We use it A LOT so eventually the roller stopped pulling paper. I looked a several printers before deciding on this one. It work very well with generic cartridges keeping the cost down. I would recommend this printer.
good value Printer was easy to install. Price was good and the nice feature is that it takes high capacity cartridges.
