Easy to Set Up & Use, Quick & Well-Designed Surprised this printer didn’t get more 5-star reviews. I’ve had it for 6 months now and I’m so glad I went with Brother this time. I’ve had other mfr. printers that are clumsier, slower, less intuitive to use and ugly to look at. This model is neat in every way. Ink is a snap to change, it scans, copies and prints quickly & with excellent print quality. Also looks elegant on my desk.
Great value Using this product for general purpose printing at home. Printer was easy to set up and print quality is excellent.
Reliable I had a canon for two years and so disapointed.i purchased this Brothers and totally satisfied. Not expensive very reliable does what it was purchased for.
Quality & Fast Print + Easy Setup I have not had this long, but so far I am very pleased: The setup was very straightforward. I wired it to my desktop PC. There was no cable included, but my old one worked. Someone said the wire was hard to install; I found it very easy. It connected to my WiFi easily for use with my laptop, and my laptop found it right away. I was surprised at how fast it prints compared to my old printer. Easy to setup and use. Good quality printing It was so easy to set up. I took it out of the box, plugged it in, and basically the machine took care of itself! I was printing documents within 15 minutes.

This is a great little printer. I love everything about this printer, except it is a bit noisy when printing.
Inexpensive to operate, but both text and graphic quality is sub-par I needed a second printer and this highly rated printer was my choice over the HP successor to my current top-performing Office Jet Pro. Oddly, the HP was rated as inferior on CR to the Brother J895DW, so imagine my surprise when I compared the same source files, text and photos, from the same computer to each of these devices.
