I'm very happy with this printer. Especially happy with ease of set up and that it is networkable via ethernet cable connection.
Very small paper tray Not an office machine. Paper tray only holds about 40 pages. Envelopes must be loaded 1 at a time. Ink is very reasonable priced for the yield. Prints are good
Long lasting printer, wireless, easy to use, decent photos We were looking for a google cloud print wireless printer where the ink lasts a long time. It was over a year before we had to change the Ink in this printer and we use it to print a few things almost every day. It's great for printing kid's stuff for school and papers for work. Cost per print is very low. It prints fast and can print both sides. It is also the first wireless printer that I have had that actually works,
Affordable, Easy, Quality We love this printer. It was purchased as a replacement for another brother all-in-one we had for several years. This printer was not the most expensive in the Brother line of printers but it was amazing to see how much technology advanced in the years since purchasing our previous Brother printer. It's okay Fair enough for the price. Mine lasted 15 months. Easy to set up and the ink lasted until it failed.
Uses Lots of Ink! Overall a good printer. However, as others have noted, it uses a lot of ink. I use this for our home printer, and use it only a few times a month. However, I find that I have to replace the ink cartridges every few months. The printer frequently goes through a self-cleaning process, and this seems to use quite a bit of ink. Next time I will be buying a different brand.
Great printer The setup was a cinch. Prints look great. The small footprint works well with our home office, and having a bypass tray and a separate photo-paper slot on the main tray are fantastic to have. Duplex (2-sided) printing is great for saving paper. Very happy with this purchase.
