Great Printer So far , I really like this printer. It works as expected. I look forward to saving money on ink because the last printer I had was an Epson and it was old and using a lot if ink.
Reliable printer with long lasting ink I've had this Brother Inkjet Printer for just under 2 years and I am very pleased with its performance and long lasting ink life. We don't print that much, so occasionally the print heads would need to be cleaned in order to maintain good print quality. This is a more than reasonable trade-off for the long lasting ink...I haven't had to purchase replacement ink yet! Works Great! Not very far into this, and am not presently printing a lot, but so far, so good. Set up was quick and easy. Didn't need the "not-included" cable to set it up and get it printing (used Wifi), but got the cable anyway. Print is sharp and crisp.
Colors are off for printing pictures Replacement for Brother J87ODW Same machine minus fax. I do a lot of printing for my quilts and the colors are not as true as previous printer. Has a yellow cast to pictures. other then that no difference in other printers. Whats the best printer for pictures?

Product didn’t seem to be new I had to send back this printer: 1. It was advertised as new, i noticed signage of usage when i opened ink compartment i saw inks were on the white material. 2. Also printer didn’t recognize Original Brother Magenta Ink Cartridge that was included in the box. 3. On the original box it was CASE LABEL from brother covered with other label. I assume it was refurbished or had something wrong with it. Waiting for replacement now. Based on this 3 star.
Only had it a few weeks, but I'm very happy with it! I wanted a printer that was multi-function (print, copy, scan, maybe fax), that had a small footprint, that wasn't hideous to look at, & not too complicated for me to set up. I'm always a bit anxious researching & reading reviews about electronics... I almost bought another brand, but at the last minute decided to go with Brother.
