Works great Very stingy on ink consumption and prints clearly.
Surprisingly Easy to Set Up So far, so good. Working great. Nice to have scanning and copying functions in addition to color printing.
Great Home Printer Wonderful printer for the home. What a pleasure to have a printer that doesn't constantly run out of ink, has economically priced replacement cartridges and prints, scans,faxes or copies when asked to do these functions without fail. We are very pleased with this printer one year after ownership.

Brother MFC-J985DW My first time to buy a Brother printer. Received it yesterday. Set up was quick and easy. Just follow the instructions on paper and prompts on the printer. I use iMac, Macbook Pro, and LG cellphone. All of them were able to connect and print without me having to use the CD-ROM that came with it. My computers automatically searched for the software needed and I just followed the prompts. For my cellphone, I downloaded the app Brother iPrint&Scan. Everything went smoothly. Great for a cheap printer This isn't a top end of the line printer. It prints pages slow and your pictures won't come out looking like the picture you took but for a cheap printer, it handles well. The ink is affordable and you can easily connect it to your wifi to print from your phone and computer. It scans documents and has a few other useful features. I recommend it if you need a printer from time to time and don't want to fork over huge amount of cash.
Nice quality - kinda slow The quality is better than I expected. The print speed is slower than I expected. Set up was simple - plugged it in, followed the instructions, connected to wifi and Windows 10 handled the rest.
Simple, but print quality not as good as some This replaced a HP all-in-one that had worked flawlessly until I turned it off for a few days while I went out of town. HP reported a "paper jam" that didn't exist. I tried a lot of tricks, but was not successful.
