Happy customer Bought this for the low ink use and to get away from HP printers after their last firmware fiasco. Really happy overall. It is on the slow side, but that is fine with me if it is saving me money. Great for a home office type deployment.
No scanning capability after 1 use After 1 use it stopped letting me scan anything or acknowledging that it could scan to a file on my computer. It also "wakes up" randomly.

Perfect for home or school Nice printer. I bought this to replace an old HP. The printer seems a bit expensive but the ink savings will definitely make up for that. Over a year's time, I will no doubt have saved money with this printer as compared to the other printers I've used. This was fairly easy to set up. Excellent printer. This is the best printer I have purchased in years. Easy to set up. Very good function. Good picture quality. Cheap to maintain.
Prints terrific! This is a really good printer! Software works very well using Win XP and Win7 through my home network. The scanning function is superb, and much faster than with my old printer. And these are very substantial ink carts -- if they last anywhere close to what they are rated, I'll be thrilled. My old inkjet was to the point that it was jamming frequently and/or chewing up the tops of the pages, so this is a very welcome improvement. I've had several Brother products, and have been very satisfied!

Good So Far So far so good. Quick processing from two different computers and no jams so far. Small size ideal for desk top. Too early to determine ink usage
