Do it!! I have had this printer now for 2 months. I needed something to keep my ink purchases low in cost- and this has been the perfect fit. To date, I have used nearly 2 full reams of paper (85% black/grey scale) and my black ink cartridge is STILL over half full! Simple setup. Easy touch screen. Prints pages at a very reasonable pace. Took me a very long time to set this up ... Took me a very long time to set this up. This is my 2nd Brother MFC. I expected the setup to be smooth, but took me many troubleshoots to resolve my problems. Problems I had in a chronological order: Network could not detect printer Could not complete the installation process in one of my computers Could not scan in two of my computers I was about to return the printer, but I endure the dreaded trouble shoot. Then resolve the problem.
