Dr. Ammar's exam was very thorough and he explained findings. He was very patient answering my questions.
Dr. Ammar treated me like 'gold'. It was a first visit and I didn't have an appointment. They consulted with Dr. Ammar and he fit me into his busy schedule with grace and charm and assisted me with handling the problem that I had just been diagnosed with. I left there feeling that I had just experienced the best care I will ever have and he lifted my spirits and hopes to the Nth degree. He is a true inspiration to his profession.

I bring my mother to Retina Consultants San Diego- kearny mesa for her degenerated vision problem after a complex cataract surgery. We meet Dr. Ammar after the vision check and Dr. Ammar give us a very throughout explain of cause of her issue and treatment plan. He has been showing his professional skill and compassion during the treatment and makes me and my mother got more hope than ever.
Dr. Ammar was very patient and took as much time as was needed to listen to my concerns and explain the surgical options. I feel comfortable having him perform my surgical procedure.

Dr Amara is always prompt, friendly, and caring. I feel like I am in good hands with him. I am not afraid of my regular shots in my eye for macular degeneration. He has the shot done before I realize it.

It was a great office visit. There was minimal wait time. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Dr. Ammar took his time explaining everything, answering questions, and did a thorough examination. I highly recommend him!
