I highly recommend going to Michael Ammar with any retinal health concerns. I've found the combination of what Dr. Ammar provides is incredibly rare, yet so important: highly skilled, caring, and taking the time to both explain my condition and answer questions. I appreciated that he shared options I have, his recommendation, yet he also included me in the decision to do what's best for me.
Dr. Michael Ammar, MD is a uniquely wonderful retina doctor. He is super knowledgeable, extremely attentive, easy to talk to and ready to answer all the questions. I am so impressed with Dr Ammar and his staff. His assistants are well spoken, professional and explain what they are doing. There is minimal wait time as each staff member completes their assessment. Dr Ammar is very friendly, explains what he is doing and completes a thorough exam. I am so grateful I found him!

Dr. Ammar is a very warm and kind person, as well as a top-notch retinal ophthalmologist. I have had five appointments with him over the past one and one-half years, and I have felt comfortable at each and every one. Upon seeing my eye images, and examining my dilated eyes themselves, he has been able to make and confirm two separate diagnoses regarding my eyes.
