I was referred to Dr. Ammar for my diabetic retinopathy. Nice office with friendly staff. Dr. Ammar was professional and explained my diagnosis to me in a way I could understand. Treatment plan is in place and I feel good about my prognosis. Highly recommend Dr. Ammar.
I have been a patient for 2 years. I always receive excellent care from Dr Ammar.
The first visit involved a lot of sitting and waiting but this time I was moved quickly through all of the stations. As before, Dr. Ammar was personable, thorough and clear in his explanation of the physical condition of my eyes. I would give him the highest rating for his care.

Had an unexpected vision “disturbance” in my left eye. My opthomologyist in Encinitas sent me to Dr Ammar in Poway because of his outstanding retinal expertise.
