06/22 update from 2 stars to 3 stars based on nice comment Patrice left. I do believe they feel bad about how I felt during this interaction. I will update review after next visit with Midland clinic. Like I said...i love midland clinic and all their staff. I just was not thrilled about the interaction. Have been bringing our Boston Terriers here for 5 years since they were pups. Always friendly, professional and a great team of people here. We only live in San Diego part time now, but still always schedule their checkups and exams here. They are very accommodating to owners and animals with unique issues, concerns, fears, et al. Love this place!
It was time we moved to a vet that was closer. I can honestly say we were treated like family. Our dog had to be seen and we got right in & were in and out within an hour. We re-upped on flea meds & even saved money from what we were paying at the previous vet!
Seriously the best vet experience I've had in my 20 years living in San Diego. These people truly care about animals and their service is impeccable. The surgery is clean and in a nice quiet area (non stressful for animals), the staff are friendly and super caring. Was recommended to me by a friend and although they are a little ways away from my house in Carmel Valley, it's worth the trip for the service. Everyone here is so nice and they truly care about the welfare of our animals. I had to leave my little chihuahua to have his teeth cleaned. He had an infection and needed to have a few teeth removed. I was worried but I knew he was in good hands. Midland gave us a detailed estimate, went over the procedure carefully so we would know what to expect. My family has been using Midland animal clinic for probably 20-25 years now and as long as I live in the area, I'll still continue to use them. First off, they're new facility is gorgeous! The former one was pretty old and needed some TLC, but the new one is very nice! The staff there is very friendly and helpful and operates very professionally. I've been taking my standard poodles here for 11 years. Now that my dogs are seniors, I frequent Midland Animal Clinic way more than I would like. The vets are knowledgeable and thorough. And maybe as importantly, compassionate. If I call and say my dogs need to be seen right away, they will always squeeze them in. I also appreciate that they have a vet on call after hours who will talk with you over phone and make recommendations on treatment or if they should be taken to an after hours/emergency facility. Very friendly doctors and staff. The care my dogs have received has been wonderful. After care is also a big priority with Midland Animal Clinic. They've always made follow up calls after each of my dogs have had appointments due to illness or injury.
