I've been taking my standard poodles here for 11 years. Now that my dogs are seniors, I frequent Midland Animal Clinic way more than I would like. The vets are knowledgeable and thorough. And maybe as importantly, compassionate. If I call and say my dogs need to be seen right away, they will always squeeze them in. I also appreciate that they have a vet on call after hours who will talk with you over phone and make recommendations on treatment or if they should be taken to an after hours/emergency facility. Very friendly doctors and staff. The care my dogs have received has been wonderful. After care is also a big priority with Midland Animal Clinic. They've always made follow up calls after each of my dogs have had appointments due to illness or injury.

My dogs are family, and I only want the best care for them. I have been going to this animal clinic for about 4 years now and have only good things to say. It's a long way to drive for me but worth every mile. I do have a favorite doctor there, but any that have treated my animals have been very competent. We have been taking Connor, our 11 year old Wheaten Terrier, to Dr Carrier at Midland Animal Clinic for a year now. So happy that we found Dr Carrier. She took the time to get to know Connor by getting down on the floor with him on his first visit to play with him, give him a couple of treats and just make him feel comfortable with her and the exam room. We are really happy with the staff and how accommodating they are for the well being of our 2 dogs. I find the prices to be reasonable too. They truly care about the health of our dogs.

We love the online ease of making appointments, the pet app they offer in order to better communicate with their clients, the pristine & pretty clinic, & the thorough & friendly office staff. Above all, we adore our vet. Dr. Davis is absolutely exceptional. Approachable, knowledgeable, honest, & understanding. She immediately made us feel welcome and at home. Her assistant, Kelly, was just as wonderful. Our dog is loved & cared for in this office. More than worth the drive from Escondido...we'll never go anywhere else.

I have been bringing my pups to Midland for 25 years. I am always pleased with the friendly, helpful staff who make bringing my pup to the vet a good experience. Dr Switzer is so gentle and takes the time to chat about my pups health discussing in detail why I'm there and how to treat my guy so he gets well. If you want to find a caring, knowledgable vet clinic for your pet, this the best place in Poway to go!! Thank you Dr Switzer and staff!!

I've been taking my dogs to Midland since 2012 and I find everyone very helpful and nice. I request the same vet when I take my dog in and the only reason I may not have the same vet during a visit is if it is of an urgent nature and they are not available. I've recommended this clinic to several people and they are just as happy as I am with everyone there.

I've been taking my dogs here for over ten+ years and they have always been given the very best care. Prices are reasonable - if not slightly lower than competitors', and I've never been railroaded into additional, costly treatments or diagnostics that weren't necessary. Treatment is conservative, exams are thorough, and they were extremely sensitive and helpful in attending to one of my dogs who died from cancer. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and professional, and I highly recommend this clinic.
