Next to my water meter, I had a slow leak from the copper water supply pipe. When I dug a hole, I found the tiny leak. The quote from MC Pluming was $1,100. I ended up fixing it for $87. for parts and tools from Home Depot.

STAY AWAY FROM MIKE COUNSIL PLUMBING!! Last week, called them (from Thumbtack) to move a water supply line to a toilet in a bathroom we don't often use. They did so. Three days later, I discovered a leak. It's been leaking all over my new hardwood floor---for 3 days! In addition, their contract/bid to replace just the drains under the house was so high that my family members--who own a local residential construction business--said it was insane, and to cancel the work immediately. Mike was called out to our house for a leaking pipe, ended up convincing my family member that the entire bathroom needed to be gutted and replaced. What should have been a fairly quick fix ended up costing tens of thousands of dollars, and the job was never complete. Additionally, the new sink backs up spewing water all over the floor and the new toilet runs. Avoid MC Plumbing at all costs- it's certainly cheaper than choosing them. needed two faucets replaced in our bathroom. We had the faucets already. We asked for a quote and when they came out we were looking at a quote for $1500.00. I looked at the two men like they had 15 heads! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Also wanted to charge us $250.00 X 2 for some part they said needed to be replaced under the sink. We kinds declined their offer and my son in law graciously replaced our faucets. WARNING DO NOT HIRE THESE CROOKS!!!! They charge exorbitant prices and take advantage of trusting people. We've compared notes with others who have used them and the stories are consistent horror stories.

These guys are an absolute joke. Not only did try they rip me off, but they literally tried charged me 5x more than the the other 3 quotes I got. The average quote was about $3,000 to get a leaking pipe replaced, Mike Counsil quoted me over $14,000!!!! Turns out it was an easy fix that ended up costing me about $400 when all was done. Thank god I got different quotes, Mike Counsil is taking advantage of people who don't know better. Do not go to these guys unless you want to throw away your hard earned money. Besmir is very very good -- not only good at his own job but also willing to cover beyond his responsibility. The handling of scheduling though is insanely poor. I got stood up without being noticed, twice, before I actually got someone at my door. if you want your service at 3pm, tell them you want 11am. Only then will everything be on time.

Ridiculously high priced. I used to love their commercials on the radio so decided to give them a try. What a disappointment. I sent feedback to their management but I guess they were too busy to respond. Beware and shop around before using these guys.

Pricey, $4500, keep shopping before committing. i got the laundry room pipes replaced due to leaks. it's quick, clean job, but need to finish the rotted walls behind the new pipes which was not planned out. May need to hire a good handyman.
