My pets are my children, so when anybody puts them in harm's way, I get really bent out of shape. Now, I can't say that my experience with Mission Med Vet was completely negative, but I would proceed with caution if you must use their services. Get another opinion of their diagnosis, and be sure you confer with your regular vet about any procedures they recommend. We brought our dog in on a Sunday night because he was unable to use his hind legs. We were not allowed to go into the back with our dog even for his vitals check. The vet took radiographs and said that they could not see anything obvious. The Dr. then offered us a surgery saying that it would run us $3,000. We asked what the surgery entailed and it was not explained at all. They suck. Cruel and heartless. Wait forever to speak to rude people, that took my dying dog and then would not give her back when i could not pay the fee that was no less than highway robery. These people area sick!

My dog was run over by a car at 10 o'clock on a Monday night. He was bleeding badly and was barely coherent. I drove 5 miles to take him to this place by recommendation and they took 3 hours to clean and stitch him up. Charged me $450 including the antibiotics he needed for the next 2 weeks. They gave him some sort of anesthetic for the treatments but when I took him home he was crying in pain so I called about it at 3am since neither of us could sleep because of it but they didn't seem to care and told me he would be fine. ... read more
