Get directionsVery disappointed in the customer service we received from the Staff at VCA Mission. The Veterinarian we spoke to, Dr. Thomas Mick, was extremely unhelpful. The information he gave us from the start was incredibly vague and when follow up questions were asked to try to clarify the situation his responses were "i dont know? anything could happen." and "could be." Obviously, the expectation is not for a medical professional to predict the future. However, our expectation was that he would help us make some hard decisions rega... read more

WHAT. A. JOKE. I've been sitting in this room with my cat for 2 hours now. No one has been in to check on us. Nothing. So, went to the front desk to get someone's attention. 5 minutes later a guy pokes his head in the door (that the cat & I are in) and says "Okay. I've checked on your cat, he's doing just fine" .... UMMM. MY CAT IS SITTING RIGHT BESIDE ME. Update: left upon vet entering the room & told her the situation. No apology was even offered. I wouldn't even take my pets back here if they had already passed away.

I was disappointed by the service received here. I waited an hour after my dog's procedure for the front desk staff to bring my dog back, despite the fact that the vet had prepared her medicine, spoken to me AND I had paid the bill. When I asked the staff I got several, "oh I don't know" responses, but no one did anything to actually bring me my dog. Fast forward three days, the medicine has not improved our dog's condition at all, and we have called twice and received no return calls. I recommend you look for another emerge... read more

Imagine it's a normal Sunday morning, and you're at home making pancakes with your family. Your pet is happily waiting at your feet, hoping for her share (which she always gets). It's a normal Sunday...and in five days, your previously healthy five-year-old dog will be dead, and you will have spent those days in absolute agony, compounded by the treatment you received while at Mission MedVet/VCA. This is our story. Shortly after breakfast that morning, Wrigley appeared to start choking, then shaking violently - a massive... read more

I tried to get an update about an animal at their facility and the women on the phone couldn't take two seconds out of her day to tell me how she was doing after being hit by a car TWICE or to even look in her file.. She just said "I don't know, I'm not even sure if that dog is even here"... Why don't you take a second and look for me. Do your job lady..
Business response:

First of all, I have been to this clinic many times in the past 10 years. I don't know if it is under new management or what? Let me say that all of the people aside from the actual doctor were great. But, this Vet Brady Boyle was terrible. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. My dog had stepped on a climbing rose branch that had fallen on the ground. He had two puncture wounds and it was swelling. Being the weekend, I didn't want to go for 3 days without it being looked at. When the Dr. Boyle came in the... read more

No one likes to be the worst case scenario/the 1%, but it seems to be very common here. Please read review through/do your research and pay the consultation fees multiple places, there are ALWAYS more options! I know they're expensive upfront; learn from my mistake, $100 is a drop in the bucket compared to multiple surgeries. I, like everyone was refereed here, however I'm now looking for a new trustworthy vet for my dogs. The process and consultation initially didn't start off leaving me with the warm and fuzzies (so much... read more
Im referred to by my now old vet. I take my female dog in. She has a black discharge. She was pregnant and on her 70th day of pregnancy. I have $3000 invested in stud service. I take her to the vet when she was 64 days in the get checked out for possible c-section . The dog and cat clinic tells me to let nature take its course. So ok. I waited till 68 days and nothing. I call back and try to get more advice. She didn't seem to care to examine her again or nothing. She tells me to be patient ad let her have the pupp... read more
I would never bring my animal here again. They put us in a room right away then an hour later came in to "take my dog to get vitals". I'm not sure what the point of the exam rooms are if they can't use them do an exam. Long story story short they didn't take him to just get vitals. They took him away to do the exam and then sent the vet in to try to get us to agree to unnecessary treatment. We talked to our regular vet on the phone while in the exam room and she felt all he needed was a refill on his antibiotic. We had ... read more
