I lived at Montelena for 6 years and loved it! I moved for a job transfer and now that I am at a new apartment I realize how truly incredible it was living at Montelena. Maintenance, office, and neighbors at Montelena were great!

I am a survivor of the big freeze while a tenant at Montelena. Yes, it was tough during those times while waiting for the repairs to my unit. Yes, it was painful when it took weeks to repair the piping in a number of units, including mine. Yes, I was down to one room and a bath. But, being in real estate management, I, also knew that PVC was back ordered through out DFW. That, my son, a plumber, was working 18 hours a day working on damaged houses and pools. The Office did the best they could considering. All that said, when time came up for renewal, they gave me months for free and moved me into a newly renovated unit at below published rent. They worked with what they had control over and provided compensation for my freeze turmoil while keeping me informed of what they could direct. I stayed with them and they met me half way. All I can ask of Montelena. Especially when they could be getting hundreds more for my current unit. Understanding both ways goes a long way. They have been very accommodating so far. Worth the stay.

Great location to... (Verified Renter) Great location to everything, enjoyed my neighbors. My section was quiet and we all knew each other. Before the pandemic, the front office would out on very nice activities fir the residents
